I am looking for new plants to purchase for a front garden area that I cleared over a year ago and have yet to replace.  It is under the windows of my dining room.  I’m looking for either woody plants or perennials.  Unfortunately, we have a deer, rabbit, and chipmunk problem in our neighborhood.  The area also receives less than 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.  Can you recommend some plants for me to consider that are attractive but also fit these considerations?

Thank you.

Here’s a good list of plants that might suit your location.  You can use a natural repellent like Bonide RepellsAll every 3 weeks or so to keep the nibblers at bay.
