What are your recommendations for evergreens that will do well in a beech-maple understory? Bonus points for a range of price points, and specimens that can get to 5’ quickly or start that tall.

Canadian Hemlock would be perfect for this. A rare evergreen that grows in shade. We have as of 5/6/21 8′ Hemlock for 220.00 and 6′ for 200.00
