Good morning,

We live in Broadalbin on Sacandaga Lake and we have a very large lawn from the house down to the water that is primarily crab grass so it’s green and looks good from far away but it is what it is.  Is there a fertilizer that we can use to make a nicer lawn that would be safe for the lake and animals/fish due to run off?  Also ducks and geese come on our property so I don’t want to put anything that would injure them either.  But I would like a nice lawn.

Thanks

R. McDonald
