Hi Peter. I have a hydrangea that I got from a neighbor’s yard (transplanted this spring) and she told me it has never flowered. It is the type of hydrangea that sends up new shoots (nothing on old canes). How do I get it to flower? Thank you.

Make sure it is in a spot that gets lots of morning and mid-day sun but not a lot of hot afternoon sun.  Feed it with Bio-Tone Starter Food this year and be patient.  It will take 2-3 years to get well enough established to produce flowers.
