I’ve acquired a Bartlett pear tree from our local soil and water district spring sale. In pursuing how to plant, appears I may need to plant a second pear tree for cross pollination. Different articles express different directions. Can you help me with that?Dianne SlusarPd4251@aol.comThanks for your help

While Bartlett Pear is capable of self pollination, better, more reliable pollination can be had by planting another pear variety nearby.  Moonglow pear would be a readily available choice.
