We have 2 Shamrock inkberry holly now in the ground for two summers. No berries. I’d be happy to plant others nearby if I knew they were the right sex to enable berries. How can I tell if the ones we have are male or female?

It is really only possible to determine the sex when they are flowering. Here’s a link to and article that explains what to look for: https://edgeofthewoodsnursery.com/species-spotlight-ilex-glabra#:~:text=You%20can%20identify%20male%20and,check%20their%20flowers%20this%20May.
