can the ground be too wet for a scissor type mole trap to be set? Every time I step on it to set it, it looks as if it is set, it goes down low to ground and looks flat but never catch a mole and when I pull up the trap it isn’t set. I have clay soil and it has rained forever and the soil is very wet.
