My mop bushes are discolored, almost a gray tone. Not the whole shrub, just parts of them. We had rabbit damage over the winter….

Rabbis will eat off the bark and, once the bark is gone, the roots can’t get the moisture and nutrients up to the foliage. Wind burn over with can also damage the plant. You can prune out the damaged aeas and feed the shrub by scratching Tree-Tone food into the soil below the shrub. Some deer netting over it down the the soil next fall will keep the rabbits away from it.
