Bamboos are generally only hardy to USDA ZONE 6 so you might get it to come back if you live in Albany or the Hudson Valley.  Check out the Zone map to determine what the hardiness zone is where you are.  We don’t stock it though since it isn’t reliable in most of the areas we serve.
