I’m looking for a small flowering shrub I can plant in the front of my house. It gets morning to afternoon sun, which drops off about 3pm or so. I’m hoping for it to grow no taller than 3ft in the hopes to allow for good viewing from the porch. My mom had initially suggested dwarf lilacs. Are these a good option and are there specific varieties i should be looking for? Otherwise, are there other options/suggestions thay bloom purple/blue flowers?
