There a several euonymus that are perfectly hardy in our area and they will be available by mid-April or so.  Since we guarantee them for life, we are careful to select plants that are hardy to USDA hardiness zone 5 or lower.  There are solid green, green and gold variegate and green ad white variegated varieties to choose for.
