Hi, I live over in Burnt Hills and my wife and I are looking for a fig tree to start growing some fruit (she grew up with them in the Bronx and loves figs). Do you know what types are best around here, and where I could get one?

We have ‘Chicago’ fig in stock now. Will may have ‘Turkey” later. It is considered hardy here in Zone 5 (Bronx is Zone 7b) but special care will be needed to winter it over. Here’s a link to more on wintering fig tree in marginal climates. https://www.figboss.com/post/fig-tree-hardy
