Dear Peter,
I’m having a lot of trouble controlling fungus gnats from my tropical plants. So far I’ve tried reducing watering to only when the soil is dry and nematodes, but there just seem to be more gnats every day. Do you have any suggestions?

There are yellow sticky traps that attract flies that will also attract the adult male fungus gnats. As you eliminate them the females will start laying fewer eggs breaking down the outbreak.
