Hello.I’ve been planting pakchoi using seaweed extract as fertilizer. Specifically Padina pavonica extract. It turned out that the plants that I applied with water grew taller than the ones applied with seaweed extract. I did mix the extract accordingly. Another outcome was the weight of plants applied with extract was heavier than the ones applied with water. Can you help me explain why this happen? Thank you vm.
I have no direct experience using seaweed extract on pakchoi but here’s a link to an experiment done using it with sunflower seed. The appear to have gotten results similar to yours.
