Hello,I live in Guilderland and for the past year or so we seem to have an awful lot of moss growing in our lawn. I would like to get rid of it as it is taking over quite a bit of the front lawn and it seems to be working its way over to all my gardens. What do you suggest to get rid of it? I am afraid there will be no lawn, just moss. You can email me back at Thank you for your time, Roseanne

Moss starts to take over as the soil become acidic.  Regular soil testing and lime applications based on the results of those tests prevents this.  Now the moss will need to be raked out and the soil pH corrected and new grass started.  More on that HERE.
