Here in central Florida we some type of seed pod that clings to the side of houses. They are brown/gray in color and about 1/4 ” long. At the end they feather out. The pod is extremely difficult to remove. The attachment to the homes, especially stucco will not power wash off. It is necessary to scrape the pod off and then power wash the wall. I’d suggest taking some good pictures of it and show them to someone at a local garden center…they will know what it is.
