Hi Peter,This summer I bought a “Night Blooming Jasmine” as a gift for someone in Schenectady. He had exceptionally good luck with it. I stopped to see him today and he showed me the plant. He asked what the small green pepper shaped objects were that were hanging from the branches. I didn’t know. I did some searching and discovered they MIGHT be seed pods. The plant I had never produced any! If they are seed pods, aan you give me some guidance on how to save them so they can be potted in the spring? If the pods do contain seeds, do I let the pod break open, or do I store the whole pod and plant the whole pod in a container in the spring? Thanks – David Cranston (E-mail address: david.cranston@adelphia.net )

I’d let the seeds pods mature on the plant until they dry out on their own then remove the seeds a store them in an envelope in a dry place until you want to start them…probably in late winter.  Here’s a link that will walk you through the germinating process:  https://www.wikihow.com/Plant-Night-Blooming-Jasmine
