I attended one of Peter’s lawn seminars in May. He suggested September as the best time to kill young weeds. Does he have aRecommended product to use that will allow us to winterize our lawn soon too?
This would be a great time to put the lawn to bed with a last application of lawn food. It is also a great time to use weed killers so you won’t have weeds next spring. Just make sure to water the lawn heavily the day before you apply weed killer since weed killer can kill the grass is the soil is very dry when you apply weed killer.
