I forgot to cut my irises back in the fall. They never died back. They are still somewhat green. What should I do now? We live in Colorado and about 7000 feet in altitude. These are very old irises and are paper thin when blooming. They are a peach color and translucent. I really hope I haven’t hurt them.
They should be fine. Perhaps a milder winter or snow cover protected them. Iris need to be divided every few years right after the flowering period.
