I harvested seeds from reddish Lilly plans outside my office. They were in a green pod with 3 small black seeds inside. It is mid August in MI. Can I plant them now? or do I have to store them for the winter.
It would be best to wait until the seed pod turns brown before harvesting the seeds to be sure they are viable. Also be aware that the lilies that grow from the seeds may not match the plant you harvested them from.
