I have a pond on my property that has been overrun this year with algae. The entire surface of the pond is covered – What’s the best and safest way to clear this up? My pond has wildlife in it so I want to make sure I don’t harm them with the resolution.

HERE’s a link to some options.  If it is a larger pond, you might look into getting some sterile grass carp to clean it up.  They are mentioned in the linked article.  Here’s a link to a supplier in NY.
