I have been growing tree lilies for many years successfully, this year I bought 5 dark ones(dark chocolate colour) petals, now they have finished flowering these new ones have got what looks like buds growing in the joint of the stem where the leaf joins the stem. some of these buds have what looks like a leaf growing out of them. please can you tell me why & what to do about them.
