Just keep it moist but not soggy wet. Poke you finger into the soil and if it cool and moist don’t water. It needs moisture but you don’t want to drown it. While it is cool, it won’t need too much water but, as it leafs out and the summer heats up and gets dry, it might need water a couple of times a week…rely on your finger to tell you.
