I put sod down last summer (early). Before putt it down I spread bags of composting manure on the dirts surface. Needless to say I had the most green and lush grass lasting into the fall. I never needed to fertilize it. It’s now middle of April and since the snow melt my grass (sod) is more brown than green. I’m quite concerned. What can I do to fix this issue? Maybe fertilize? Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Judy.

It would have been a great idea to have put a starter lawn food on it last late summer/early fall to strengthen and deepen the roots system before winter. Hopefully an application of starter food now will bring it back. Got to Hewitt’s and grab a bag of our Country Estate Winterizer/Starter Lawn Food and apply it right away.
