I put too much lime on my garden. Will it be safe to plant my vegetables this year? idaellism@aol.com

It depends on how much too much lime you put on the garden. Most vegetables like a pH of 6.5 or so.  You’ll have to do a pH test (very easy) to see what your pH is now and apply the appropriate amount of garden sulfur to correct it.  Here’s a link that will walk you through doing a pH test:  https://blog.timesunion.com/gardening/the-acid-test/567/
