I recently received a dawn redwood tree. Right now it is only about 18″ high with small buds. I would like to plant it as soon as possible. Is there anything I should add to the dug hole before planting the tree ? Such as bone meal ? Denise
Yes, plant as soon as possible. In the past I’d have recommended bone meal…now there is something better…Bio-tone. More on that HERE.
