I recently saw a short part of your TV advice on fertilizing shrubs using a tire iron to make holes in ground then pour product into hole. Was wondering what the product was and how many holes you would put around small cedar shrub. Thanks, Fred

For the arborvitae, I used Tree-Tone.  For other evergreens, I’d use Holly-Tone and Flower-Tone for perennials and flowering shrubs.  I poked about 5-6 holes around each arbs using a couple of cups of food each.
