I’m looking to plant privacy shrubs on my property line, is there special attention needed for planting in clay? Is there one specimen that will thrive in clay?

Arborvitae makes a great privacy barrier and will do fine in clay soil as long as it dooesn’t pond up for extended periods.  Forsythia and Weigela are flowering shrubs that can be planted as hedges and have no problem with clay soils.  Adding organic matter (compost) and sand can help them get started a bit better…and Bio-Tone starter food of course.
