Just wondering if you may be able to help me with this….there has been a huge potted cactus that would bloom glorious red flowers the first week in July…….unreal beauty from such a straggly old plant….in a huge pot.I take them in each fall to store in the basement, I am devistated that they have all of the meat (green thick cactus part) eaten down to only the stick part, it look sick and dying…..is there any hope for this plant, my fathers family had it in the city for years….it looks very, very hurt….any advice you can give me would be much appreciated, thank you
