My son decided to help me plant some collards. He planted my collards in sand. He thought it was dirt. So I pulled up my plants to removed as much of the sand as I could n added some black soil but it’s still Sandy what can I do to fix this? I had to put my greens in the ground they were getting wilted.helpe out I’m so lost.

The sand wasn’t a big problem.  They are suffering from transplant shock from being pulled out and having the dirt (sand) pulled off the tiny roots.  Keep them moist and they may recover.  Perhaps sow some seeds directly in the soil where you want to grow them.
