Peter : i have a patch of my back lawn that turns yellow in the fall the last 2 years. I do not think that the grass is dead because it turned green again in the spring. any ideas? Thanks.
There some grass deeds that were popular in the 1980s, the “midnight” strains of bluegrass, that do this. they also look dead in spring until they green up in late May. I’d consider overseeding the area with a modern blend so you have a green lawn early and late in the season. I’d suggest our Sandy Blend.
