I have noticed a number of white pines turning brown and dropping their needles this spring here in saratoga county and other nearby areas.  This usually doesn’t happen until the fall.  Did something stress these trees or is there some other problem that you are aware of?  I enjoy reading Peter Bowden’s column and thought I would ask this question.  Please feel free to use this question for your readers.
