Hello,

Do you have any suggestions for perennials to plant in beds with tulips to cover up the dying foliage? I love the look of my tulips in the spring, but in the summer not so much. I know the bulbs like it dry so I don’t want to plant annuals in with them. I also don’t want to dig up the tulip bulbs every year, I bought varieties that come back well to avoid that.

Thanks!

have plants annuals in the same area as my bulbs for years without any problems.  I never dig out perennial bulbs.  A couple of good perennials I use to mask bulb foliage are daylilies, and hosta.
