I came back from 2 weeks away to find crabgrass has taken over large sections of my lawn. I have an Ortho weed control with crabgrass preventer, but I am not sure that can fix this problem without killing rest of my lawn. Any suggestions?

You’ll have to get a crabgrass killer spray but it (or weed killer) shouldn’t be used in high heat. The best approach is to use a crabgrass preventer in May to avoid this. It is hard to kill once it takes hold. Always read and follow the direction on the package.
