Every year I have to put down grass seeds and soil. That only thing that consistently grows are weeds.

Blending any kind of compost into sandy soil will help the grass but the ONLY grass blend to use is Country Estate Super SANDY. It will be difficult to get this growing in the summer heat though since grass seed needs to be kept constantly moinst for a month or so to get it going. Starting in mid August will make it much easier.
