What shurbs will grow in full shade for front of the house landscaping? The house blocks the sun but I’d like some curb appeal. I have sandy soil with good drainage, zone 4b.Rica456@aol.com

That’s a tricky location.  No sun and zone 4.
It sounds like a north facing wall so winter wind is probably a factor as well.
Not many woody plants can deal well with that.  I suggest that shade-loving herbaceous perennial plants might be a good option.
Look into the large Hostas like Sum and Substance and Empress Wu who can get 40” tall by 70” wide.
Cimicifuga is another large perennial with tall plumes of flowers in summer.
Bleeding heart, Astilbe, Ferns, Physostegia, Tiarella are other interesting plants that thrive in shade and provide interest and color.
They aren’t bothered by winter’s north wind either since they die to the ground and love to be buried in snow.
These are all plants you’ll usually find at Hewitt’s as the season progresses
