Persian Shield and Coleus are both annuals.  They are bedding plants not landscape shrubs.

I’d suggest dropping by our E. Greenbush location to talk to Dan or Lee to see what shrubs are going to be best in the locatiuon you wish to plant.  Make note of what kind of light it gets and what direction it faces.  Take picture to show so they can make the best suggestions for what will thrive there.
