Peter – I took cuttings from my 30+ Coleus plants and put each cutting in new plastic cups with tap water. Some of the cuttings now have milky white fuzzy looking stuff on the stems in the water. Is that normal? If not, do I need to gently clean the stems and add fresh water? Is there something else I should do also?

It is probably tiny root hairs forming…a good thing.  Change the water every couple of days.
